About — system node
Software engineering made in Coimbra
Matecno builds web applications, automations, websites, backends and integrations for businesses that have outgrown off-the-shelf software. We connect the systems you already use to Stripe, Google Workspace, email and WhatsApp, so your team stops copying data by hand. Besides client work, we have products of our own.
Our main product is HoraCerta, a bookings platform in three languages, in production, from the calendar to payments, built and operated by us. This site is our work too, including the 3D graph on the home page.
The source code stays in the client's repository. Scope, deadlines and support are set down in writing before we start. When we think a project isn't justified, we say so at the assessment.
We are in Coimbra and work on-site across the Centro region and remotely for the rest of the country. The first step is a free 30-minute assessment, by call or in person.
Code written from scratch
Custom software, from data model to deploy, with no off-the-shelf platform underneath.
- What we do: Custom software, automations and integrations, from data model to deploy.
- With what: Next.js, Node.js and TypeScript in the app and backend; Prisma and PostgreSQL in the data model; Python for automations; Stripe, Google Workspace, WhatsApp and email for integrations.
- Advantage: One stack, mastered end to end, with no layers nobody on the team can maintain.
Coimbra, and remote across the country
Coimbra, working on site across the Centro region and remotely for the rest of the country.
- Where we are: Coimbra. In-person meetings across the Centro region; remote for the rest of the country.
- How you reach us: WhatsApp or email; the assessment is by call or in person.
- Advantage: Meetings at your company when they are needed, and a project in your time zone and your language.
What we agree
Four commitments, in writing, on every project.
- What we promise: The source code is yours, in your own repository; scope, deadlines and support in writing.
- What we show: HoraCerta in production as a public reference.
- Advantage: A clear no when the project isn't worth it. You keep the money and the time.
